Blood Donation Camp Thuravoor ITI

21 May 2026 The Rotary Club of Cochin South organized a Blood Donation Camp on 21 May 2026 at Government ITI, Thuravoor, in association with the IMA Voluntary Donor Blood Centre. The program was inaugurated by Shri Martin, President of the Thuravoor Grama Panchayat, in the presence of Dr. Muhammed Haneef, Medical Officer, IMA Blood Centre. The dignitaries highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and encouraged the youth to actively participate in community service initiatives that save lives.

The camp received an encouraging response from students, staff, and members of the local community. A total of 20 voluntary blood donors participated in the initiative, contributing to the availability of life-saving blood for patients in need. The Rotary Club of Cochin South extends its sincere appreciation to the management and students of Government ITI Thuravoor, the IMA Blood Centre team, the dignitaries, volunteers, and all donors whose support ensured the success of the program.

The event reflected Rotary’s continued commitment to community health, humanitarian service, and the promotion of voluntary blood donation.
