Club Family Trip-Kashmir

Club Family Trip to Kashmir Rotary Club of Cochin South 22–25 May 2026 The Rotary Club of Cochin South organized a memorable Family Trip to Kashmir from 22nd to 25th May 2026. The trip brought together 16 Rotarians along with 6 Anns and Annets, providing an excellent opportunity for fellowship, bonding, and shared experiences outside the regular club environment. Day 1 – Srinagar Arrival The group arrived in Srinagar and commenced the tour with visits to the beautiful Mughal Gardens, renowned for their scenic landscapes and historic charm. In the evening, members enjoyed a traditional Shikara boat ride on the picturesque Dal Lake, creating lasting memories amidst the breathtaking surroundings.

Day 2 – Gulmarg The second day was dedicated to exploring Gulmarg, one of Kashmir's most celebrated hill destinations. Members enjoyed the stunning mountain vistas, pleasant weather, and the natural beauty that makes Gulmarg a favorite destination for visitors from around the world. Day 3 – Pahalgam Excursion The group travelled from Srinagar to Pahalgam, experiencing the scenic valleys, rivers, and landscapes that Kashmir is renowned for.

The excursion provided ample opportunities for sightseeing, photography, and fellowship among participants. Day 4 – Shopping and Return On the final day, members spent time shopping for local handicrafts, souvenirs, and Kashmiri specialties before commencing their return journey home. The trip was marked by excellent fellowship, camaraderie, and shared experiences among members and their families.
