
Blood Donation Camp & Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign Rotary Club of Cochin South 21 May 2026 The Rotary Club of Cochin South organized a Blood Donation Camp and Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign on 22 May 2026 at Government ITI, Erinad, Kodungallur. The program was inaugurated by Shri K. P. Rajan, Panchayat President, in the presence of Dr. Muhammed Haneef, IMA Medical Officer, who addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and the need for continued awareness against substance abuse among youth. The Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign focused on educating students and the community about the harmful effects of drug abuse, encouraging healthy lifestyles and informed decision-making.
The session received positive participation and engagement from the attendees. As part of the program, a blood donation camp was conducted, resulting in the collection of blood from 30 voluntary donors. The initiative contributed to supporting local healthcare needs while promoting the spirit of community service.
The Club expresses its appreciation to the management and students of Government ITI Erinad, the dignitaries, medical team, volunteers, and all donors who contributed to the success of the program. The event reflected Rotary’s continued commitment to public health, youth welfare, and community service.
