Nature Study Camp For Students at St. Theresas

A Nature Study Camp was conducted from November 21 to 23 for students of St. Teresa’s College at the Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, offering participants a unique opportunity to engage with nature and wildlife education. The camp focused on creating awareness about biodiversity, wildlife conservation, and ecological balance. Students were introduced to the unique flora and fauna of the Chinnar region through guided nature walks, observation sessions, and interactive discussions.

Emphasis was laid on understanding fragile ecosystems, sustainable coexistence, and the responsibility of individuals in protecting the environment. The programme provided an enriching learning experience beyond the classroom, encouraging students to develop a deeper appreciation for nature while fostering teamwork and environmental sensitivity. The Nature Study Camp was well received and proved to be an informative and memorable experience for all participants, reinforcing the importance of conservation and responsible engagement with natural habitats.
