The club extended financial help towards the treatment of Ms. Angel Thomas, aged 20, who is personally known to the club's assistant Mr. Kuttappan. She is undergoing prolonged ICU care for severe encephalitis, having faced seizures and a tracheostomy, and remains on ventilator support. With the family under considerable emotional and financial strain, the Rotarians of Cochin South contributed a sum of ₹77,000 towards her treatment.
