Republic Day Celebration at Thiruvankulam

Event: Republic Day Rally Organised by: Rotary Club of Cochin South & Rotary Community Corps (RCC), Thiruvankulam Venue: Thiruvankulam Occasion: Republic Day The Rotary Club of Cochin South, in association with the Rotary Community Corps (RCC), Thiruvankulam, organized a Republic Day Rally at Thiruvankulam as part of the nation’s Republic Day celebrations. The rally was aimed at instilling a sense of patriotism, civic responsibility, and national pride among the public, especially the younger generation. The program was formally inaugurated by Adv. P. L. Babu, Chairman, Thrippunithura Municipality.

Manju P Binu, Ward Councillor, was present on the occasion, along with other councillors from the area, lending their support to the initiative. Rtn. Mahesh Ramadas, President, Rotary Club of Cochin South, attended the event as the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of unity, constitutional values, and active citizenship. Around 150 students actively participated in the rally, marching with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit, making the event vibrant and impactful.

Their active involvement reflected the success of the program in engaging youth and spreading awareness about the significance of Republic Day. The Republic Day rally was well-organized and received positive response from the local community. The event reinforced Rotary’s commitment to community engagement, youth participation, and promotion of national values.
