Blood Donation Camp Govt ITI Kalamassery

A Blood Donation Camp was successfully conducted on November 12 at Women’s ITI, Kalamassery, organized by the Rotary Club of Cochin South. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 36 donors voluntarily donating blood. The inaugural session was held in the presence of President Rtn. Mahesh Ramdas, Secretary Rtn. George Panamkuzha, the Principal of Women’s ITI, Mr. Srinadh, and the Medical Officer from IMA, Dr. Muhammed Haneef.

During the inauguration, the dignitaries addressed the students and donors, highlighting the importance of voluntary blood donation and creating awareness about its life-saving impact. Dr. Muhammed Haneef shared key medical insights and safety aspects of blood donation, helping to reassure and motivate first-time donors. The camp was conducted smoothly with the support of medical staff and volunteers, reflecting Rotary’s continued commitment to community health and service.

The program concluded successfully with appreciation for the donors, faculty, and organizers who made the event possible.
