Financial Literacy Seminar For Students

Seminar Harmony Aptitude tests, Career Counselling, Skill development Leadership Workshops & Camps As part of the Centre for Excellence initiative, the Rotary Club of Cochin South organized an engaging and educational session on Financial Literacy at the Rotary Community Corps (RCC), Thiruvankulam. The session was led by Rtn. CA. Neeraj Chanduvarath, Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Cochin South, who brought his professional expertise and deep understanding of finance to simplify complex financial concepts for young learners.

The program was attended by around 50 students from both school and college levels, marking an impressive turnout and enthusiastic participation. Through interactive discussions and relatable examples, Rtn. Neeraj covered essential topics such as: The importance of saving and budgeting from an early age Understanding income, expenses, and goal-based financial planning Basics of banking, digital payments, and responsible credit use The role of financial discipline in achieving long-term stability Students actively engaged with questions and shared their own perspectives, making the session both informative and dynamic. The initiative aimed to instill financial awareness and practical money management habits among youth — aligning with Rotary’s broader vision of empowering the next generation through education and skill-building.

The event concluded with an expression of gratitude to Rtn. Neeraj Chanduvarath for his valuable contribution and to the RCC Thiruvankulam team for their support in hosting this impactful program.
