Blood Donation Camp-Chinmaya College

A Blood Donation Camp was held on 22nd August 2025 at 9:00 AM at Chinmaya College Auditorium, Tripunithura. The initiative was organized by the Rotary Club of Cochin South in association with Rotary Community Corps (RCC), NSS Unit No. 132, Chinmaya College Arts, Commerce & Science, and H.M.M. Ernakulam. George Panamkuzha, Secretary, Rotary Club of Cochin South Highlights of the Event The camp was inaugurated by Shri K. Babu MLA, who highlighted the humanitarian importance of blood donation as a life-saving act of compassion.

Smt. Rosy Joyce Lopez, Principal of Chinmaya College, presided over the program and praised the NSS students and Rotary volunteers for their enthusiastic involvement. Rtn. Mahesh Ramdas, President of Rotary Club of Cochin South, emphasized the club’s prestigious target of mobilizing 1000 blood donors during this Rotary year. He announced that multiple blood donation camps will be conducted across the year to reach this milestone, underlining Rotary’s commitment to public health and community service.

Rtn. George Panamkuzha, Secretary, delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of students, RCC members, NSS volunteers, and all blood donors who made the event a success.
